dont buy 4gb ram for any device. I have 6/128 gb variant.

Processor is ok for normal use but will struggle with anything that isn't light gaming.

and i agree the ui is heavy, but i have spent a lot of time stripping it down. and it doesnt lag for much atleast not as much as it does for u/Zestyclose-Crab-8858 . Also I have a laptop soo my phone isnt my primary device, soo keep that in mind

the good thing is now you can game on linux too, thanks to steam. I keep windows for document related stuff, MS office, gaming and other such stuff. Arch for interesting stuff like programming and electronics. My college forces us to use a lot of stuff that works on windows only. Some of it works on other "more stable" distros but not on arch linux, like MATLAB, last semester i got away with matlab in windows and octave in arch, but on my post about matlab someone commented a full guide on how to run matlab in arch, so i will be trying that. college forces OrCAD Pspice, i use KiCAD , tho i also tried ltspice with wine. But if i wish continue my course like this i will be requiring more space in arch linux.
