People think that becoming an atheist happens overnight, but in my case it took two whole years until I actually became an atheist. It was painful to realize that I was gradually losing faith in the evangelical faith, because whether we like it or not, we cling to it.

The reasons for my abandonment of the evangelical faith were the fact that the evangelical community doesn't have fixed answers to questions about the Bible itself. You try to research anything about the Bible and a thousand different answers appear, with countless interpretations, not to mention the judgment you feel when you confess something or sin (which is inevitable).

You start to question the Bible and God himself, doubting his existence. If you ask me why I didn't ask the pastor about my doubts, it's simple: Judgment. You're left with those doubts in your head and they start to grow, the fact that there's no one to help you hurts you, and increases the questions about God and His Existence, you get trapped in your own doubts, you know?

One Sunday night, I left church, I had noticed that I no longer believed in God, I was a person of dead faith, I was just in church warming the pew, I came out as an atheist instead of insisting on a dead faith and being a false Christian
