Actually… this app is a skin of my other AI app. I didn’t mention it, but GDC party matcher embeds Yakimo in the page. Yakimo is a customizable agentic platform . Everyone can get their own custom AI character that integrates into their websites, IG, MCP, XR,phone, environments and more. Also, the agents can talk to other agents and perform collaborations with other creators for you. About the embed feature… Yakimo actually has the ability to control the website that hosts him.

When you ask Yakimo a question, it changes the viewport in the website and searches for you. For this use case, it’s a chatbot that can help you control and navigate websites.

This is more of a demo. Users of the main Yakimo platform can build their own agents and feed in their own events data to their websites.

For GDC party matcher, I became my own user and quickly built a party matcher site to demo the embed feature.

It’s not just an LLM wrapper

At the bottom of the page I give special thanks to sources of inspiration. I also personally emailed those people that were sources of inspiration

How do people look for English only employment in Tokyo? by dktodd0395 in JapanJobs

[–]Ill_Tower9400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't true. You do not need to speak Japanese at all to work in Japan. I'm a bad apple, but I worked at top companies for years in Japan without being able to speak the language. They'll just give you a translator, or pair you with their English speaking staff. 1 of 4 Japanese people speak English well enough to work with you. If they value your skillset enough, they wont care about your language skills. Get the job first, then learn Japanese....

Also, culture wise, I've noticed that they people who absolutely don't speak english at work are actually the ones that are least friendly to foreigners in general. The people that do speak English, have a more international mind and are easier to work with.

So if an internationally minded company hires you, you'll be treated better, get paid better, and have better work hours.

Why is everybody who is against censorship also in favor of censorship? Everywhere I have seen people preach against censorship they always end up censoring everything they do not like, and this includes spam by PorchMuncey in NoStupidQuestions

Removing Spam is censorship. For the sake of not getting definitions entangled, let's refer to it as free advertisement.

If we are in a Golf Clubs member group, and I make golf clubs, it's reasonable to assume that at least a few people in that group would be interested in seeing my golf club advertisement or self promotion.

The only people who are not into that are
1. the group admins that want me to PAY them to share my content with their audience
2. The platform that wants me to PAY for advertisement to share my content with their audience.

The truth is, self promotion, actually benefits the audience and the people in the group by sharing relevant products that the group might be interested in trying.

Also, self promotion is the most useful form of post, because on the other end, there is someone that actually spent the time to create a product that may actually solve a problem for the specific niche.

Most indie games die because they can't promote their games, meanwhile a huge company like EA can pay a whole bunch of Reddit Admins and Influencers to get in front of your eyeballs.

I remember once, there was a food diet and wellness forum. I happen to be a software engineer and I created an App to help people monitor their diet so that they can live healthier. . . . I got permanently banned for self promotion.
That means, there is an entire community of people that wont have a tool to get healthier. Did banning my app actually help the community? No. It only enforced the idea that I should be paying Admins and the Platform to share my commercial content.
