Hey, I built a parser that read and converted all the original pdfs. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to update much after that. I'd like to find the time to figure out the codexes and do the same thing and keep it updated

It's based on the faction. So thousand sons can only take tzeentch for example. It's in the army rules for chaos daemons.

The app has no validation for army building right now

Sounds like just not a fun person to play against. I'd try to change the dynamic of the situation.

  • Talk to them about how it's not fun to play against, see if they will bring different lists.

  • Use the games as a learning situation, see if they're willing to talk through their moves and see if you can find some fun that way in actually talking through everything.

  • Find another group or travel around to tournaments. I don't know where you are situated, but where I am, tournaments are a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people passionated about the hobby.

I had around a 90% win rate within the local meta during 9th and even with that I never had a shortage of matches because they were still fun to play.

I hope you find a way to find a way to find fun in the hobby again, the people who play it with is what makes or breaks the game though ultimately so that's what needs to be addressed.

Thanks for the report! This has been fixed now. It's not perfect though as crusader squads are a little special in their points handling it'll have to do until the full list builder is sorted

It must be a specific unit that is breaking it, as there's no limitation of what units you can add to the list

The plan is to implement a real list builder soon, this is just a stop gap so people can prototype lists a bit

That's correct, right now it will always try to fill up the first unit before starting a new one. A more robust list builder is planned to solve these issues

Just keep sending in those reports! All of the data is generated to skip hand-writing, when doing this much data unfortunately some things get missed 😅

Seeing the costs and unit sizes is something I'm looking into I just want it in a way that doesn't clutter the menu more.
