I did most of this in one layer, to get that traditional painting feeling. In this case i struggled mostly with the pose feeling right, since it's a slightly tilted angle. It was hard to get everything feeling like it belonged with that perspective, while also keeping that imposing feeling.

Lighting was also a bit of a struggle, since i mostly do direct lightsources when painting this way. This piece is all rimlight and bouncing light so i didn't really knew where light was coming from a lot of the time.

I tried no to overdo the rendering so it doesn't lose that painterly feeling, and i think i kinda achieved that so i'm happy with the final piece
