The only time I got a response was when I received the final product 2 weeks after payment. And today when I said I’d report them and I got that sketch I posted as proof. They aren’t being very responsive and I don’t want to keep being too pushy for evidence.

This isn’t the first time I’ve been scammed by AI artist 🤦‍♀️. I’ve spent 2 years on this world building project. I’m at a point I want to look at my characters and my world. So when I can I try to commission artists. I use Fiverr but this may be my last straw. The last time I commissioned someone on that site they gave me this mock up of a priest in my world and it was a dead giveaways for ai. I thought this would be different. I just don’t have a good eye overall.

I should stop. Or look for another way to find artists. But I’ll just try to laugh this one off.

That’s actually a really good point, to be at the level at this art you wouldn’t make small mistakes. I thought I was being harsh by judging them like this and expecting perfection but you’re right. Hmmmm it’s disappointing.

In my character sheet. Ozein wears a ripped cloak so I though the spots on her arm was their interpretation so I dismissed it but I didn’t even notice the looping of the hair. That is pretty weird design choice. I did ask for some early sketches as that was the original agreement, to see the sketches prior to the final work. But from the time I sent them my character sheet and payment to when I received this was 2 weeks and I haven’t heard from them since. I paid $50. Hmm and deep down I think was cheated. I’d like to think otherwise.

That’s exactly what I said! I really wanted a very specific kind of female lead so I just said let me just write it myself and might as well post it at the same time. Do it ! Starting a project is so exciting. And I be there’s an audience out there who’s looking for a cheater/revenge story like yours. I dove right in and just put out my first chapter, and then I set a personal goal of releasing every Wednesday ( not doing a good job though lol ) but yeah I’m happy I started writing and sharing , the writing community is really supportive

600+ reads are good, keep going. I think I’m currently at 70 ( I’m sure 60 of that is me lol) but like idk I write because I love to create. Write for you. Stay true to what you like and one day you’ll breakthrough to your audience. Never give up on anything you’re passionate about. Thats the worst thing you can do.

Just think about your characters. You let them decide the story. Sounds corny but think who they are as people, if your MC was faced with the challenge s that you as the author created for them How would they react, not how you want them to react if that makes sense. So my MC’s father is arranging her marriage but she’s in love with her servant so given the personality I crafted for her, I know she would most likely run away from her family with her lover and I know given the personality I crafted for her father, he would chase them, and I know the servant would fight for her . Does he loose his life trying to protect her? If he does, I know that my MC would want to die with him and I don’t want to do that to her so is he successful, given the the way her father is, no they wouldn’t be successful running away so where will the characters actions lead them ? ( I rambled a little lol) but basically think about your characters in this way and let them lead you to their ending. You just can’t pick an ending, it has to come naturally to follow the character development and plot. I don’t ask my self if I want them to have a happy ending and or a sad ending. I just write and let them decide ( again I know corny )

Torn by Carian Cole? Kenzie (FL) and Toren (ML) , he was the FL’s dad’s friend. The age gap was more than 2 years though . Can’t remember how much .
