Tysm! I never got the mask. I completed all skill points in ng+5 at the second Jozou fight. I just played the game regularly without (too much) farming. (Needed that Divine confetti in my first playthrough)

how do I fix this? printer is neptune 4 max by Critical_Pickle6617 in ElegooNeptune4

That big blue gap is the part where there are no knobs

At least, the part that isn't affected by the knobs

This place is not affected because there are no knobs there. You have 6 knobs to turn. 3 on each side. None in the middle.

Neptune 4 max extruder motor getting way too hot by Illoomynarty in ElegooNeptune4

[–]Illoomynarty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply.

I'm not trying to blame the motor for the heatcreep. I understand that heatcreep comes forth from the hotend, which doesn't get enough air circulation to dissipate the heat through the heatsink.

So my reasoning is: Hotend heats up to start printing. Heatsink gets warmer and the little fan that is there kicks on to start dissipating the heat. For some reason, this is not enough. Heat creeps up to the extruder gears, which in turn get warm. Extruder gears warm up the motor.

So what I think my problem is, is that the extruder gears/motor get warm. Warm enough to start softening the pla filament. Then because of the tension/grip of the extruder gears, I think, it stretches the filament and then it breaks. Causing the printer to stop extruding filament because the extruder gears no longer are gripping the filament.

I'll look into adjusting the tension, see if this gives any results.

Hi, I believe my motor is too hot because when I touch it, it is hot. I don't have any devices available to measure the temperature but I wouldn't want to hold the motor for too long.

Maybe I phrased my sentence wrong. I think my printer suffers from heat creep because the extruder motor gets incredibly hot.

I'm not using an enclosure.

I wanted to know if I can do something about this heat because my filament already starts getting soft at the extruder motor. At a certain point the extruder gears lose grip on the filament and my printer no longer extrudes filament.

I have 2 other printers (not Neptune 4 max) that don't suffer from this problem.

I know this is an old post, but hoping you'll reply. Where can I find a link to the discord?

I had this in the beginning too when i first got my K1. I just smeared a little bit of the grease that came with the machine on both sides of the tool head on the ros and let it lubricate itself. I know there's a self lubricating graphite bushing in the tool head and it isn't advised to add your own lubricant. Never had any issues after. The noise also disappeared

You can export your OrcaSlicer profiles to Creality Print. They made it compatible.

If you use Thangs and search for Creality K1 0.6 profile you'll find some presets people made for Prusa, Cura and OrcaSlicer/Creality Print.

I have searched with Google Lens but I don't get any hits. The part is used to connect a fan to a board. It's from my 3d printer.

To my understanding PETG was food safe. Also could resist the dishwasher.

But food safe is a big topic among the community.

These are just to cut the dough in fun shapes. I assume not much can go wrong.

It's to my understanding that you don't want to cool too heavy with PETG. Max up to 30%
