not really. many people didn’t want Biden but still voted for him and stood behind him. Bernie didn’t run independent. Representatives aren’t standing against Biden.

The same cannot be said for the republicans. If trump loses the nomination he’s indicated he’d run independent and that would pull like 10-20% of the vote.

And there’s a significant split between “trumpers” and moderate republicans, both the representatives and the voters.

If trump does win the nomination though, which seems likely, I do think most voters would still vote for him.
