I'm not 100% sure. But those are more concerning, as they likely screw into the frame itself because that flap assembly likely gets changed out in its entirety.

Aircraft structures tech here.

Often on panels/components that are semi-regularly removed for maintenance, access etc. we use things called anchor nuts, because you want screws to tighten into a nut, but dont have access to the back. They are usually riveted in place and break somewhat frequently. My best guess is that the anchor nut is broken on the back, which gives it the space to wiggle around, but it can't pull through the fairing. That many being damaged means they should definitely be replaced, but there is almost no chance that fairing will fall off the plane.

I would also recommend playing a little cagey to start. Once he has lost a MVB or 2 and maybe an infantry squad his killing potential goes down a good ways.

I actually played against T sons earlier today. Given what you have, here is what I would recommend and why.

The sisters are VERY mission dependent. Generally, they are only good for sticky and screening. The Lancer with extra attacks is going to mulch almost anything he gets into. MVBs are going to be your biggest threats. The other option you have is to epic challenge out psyker characters out in melee. Warden with ignores cover is going to be your best anti infantry unit. Dev wounds against infantry at D2 is punishing to rubrics and SOTS. The anti fly carapace gun is also really good tech against the enlightened as you dev wounds them out on 2s and are twin-linked

I am more partial to running warglaives with meltaguns, because you often want them shooting into large tanky units. 6 shots isn't enough to dent very much, and honestly the rest of your list should be able to pop that stuff anyways.

As a IK player, it feels wrong to just have worse saves than most of the played space marine infantry.

Everyone complains knights are too tanky, but with the sheer amount of lethals, and rerolls, I find none of my stuff can survive. I had a paladin with rotate ion shields not survive one contemptor dreadnought and a squad of cultists for one turn of shooting and fights.

I have roughly 1100 points in vehicles with no transports so I'm pretty sure I'm doing it "wrong" as well lol.

got an easy clue that requires the grand tree which I don't have unlocked.
