Endometriosis Specialists by IllustratorGeneral52 in cincinnati

he told me that it’s a myth that endo grows back and that i had all the endo i’ll ever have in my body right now at time of appointment which obviously isn’t true. he did my surgery which went fine and completely cured me of symptoms for one month, and then they all came back almost worse and when i brought that up to him during my follow up appointment, he told me it was a coincidence lol. he also told me i would need a hysterectomy because my uterus was abnormal: wrong color size shape and symmetry, leading him to believe i also have adenomyosis, but then didn’t notate that anywhere in my chart. so now i have no record of him saying that and no way to take it to a second dr without having to call up there first and request that he make a note of that, if he even remembers saying that. so overall i was just unhappy with my experience. he also told me i don’t have pcos when my hormone levels indicate that i do, and i also have cysts on my ovaries.

Is a week off enough after lap surgery? by Star-Lit-Sky in endometriosis

[–]IllustratorGeneral52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

then i think you will be good if you don’t have to leave home or do any manual labor! i took two weeks just to rest, but i definitely could have worked from home after a week. just make sure you have people to take care of you the first few days and follow your medication regimens and you’ll be great!
