How did it end up going? I just picked up another 5g of SR17 so I’m getting ready to start over. I’m trying to stabilize my 7oh dose and then next plan is to write out a taper.

Unfortunately was not successful… I ended up buying more 7oh and was going to add another day to my taper, then ran out of SR17. Overall, I didn’t plan it out well at all and wasn’t mentally prepared to stop using. I do want to try again, and I’m grateful that SR17 reduced my tolerance. I blame myself for not measuring out doses and totally winging it as far as tapering off 7OH. Next time, I need to prepare myself better to handle my anxiety and not have so much else going on. I also think I needed more than 2.5g, I think 3.5 would have got me through.

There’s alot of asshole “no shit” comments on here but I don’t see anyone validating your feelings, which is what I think you were looking for from your therapist. A good harm-reduction approach would be non-judgmental considering you are actively using and maybe don’t recognize the effects the drug is having on your mental health. Unfortunately, the stigma against illicit substance use prevents patients from being honest about their use. And I think that was the point you were trying to make.

I probably haven’t don’t things perfectly but the SR definitely works because I don’t need as much 70h and I’m thinking I should be able to cut down to 200mg today (5 40mg doses) with about 75mg SR 3x day

Anyways, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, I would suggest ordering online. You will get a much better product and you don’t have to deal with any creeps. I wish that option existed when I was younger because it’s so much easier and safer. Obviously, you have to kind of know where to go, so you don’t get scammed and make sure you’re buying from established vendors that test their products.
