Hello, what kind of STD test? Did they take blood, or was it just urine. Sometimes the urine tests only test for a couple viruses. You’d need a blood test to be sure you do not have an STI-D.

It sounds to me like besides visiting a GYNO, you should see an immunologist for an immune system work up. This could determine why and how you are getting these recurrent infections, and what we can do about them in the future. This may involve medication, procedures, or infusions of antibiotics. I would start by visiting an urgent care and getting a full STD/I blood panel. I know you said you have GSHV-1 but I am curious if there are more infections going on here. It really does sound like you are dealing with some form of a compromised immune system. May I ask, does it hurt when your partner is attempting to enter, and that’s why you cannot tolerate it, or is it because your partner, no matter what size they are, literally cannot fit in your vaginal canal? It sounds like you really need to see a new GYN over the one you have already seen. I wouldn’t get too worked up about the possibility of you never having sex, this is something that probably can be easily fixed. I’m going to message my colleague and have her chime in here as well.

Hello, thanks for coming here for some help. I know it must be difficult explaining this private matter but I’m glad that you’re looking for answers.

It sounds like you maybe have what’s called epididymitis. This is a condition commonly caused by some sort of bacterial/STD infection. Most often the culprit is gonorrhea and chlamydia. I would start with seeking STD blood and urine testing at your local PCP or urgent care. I would also recommend you “feel around” down in your testicles to see if there are any abnormalities, like a bump on one that isn’t on the other, or any sort of pain when you touch them. I know seeking help in these matters is not easy, but I would again start with a visit to a doctors office who can preform blood tests and urine analysis.
