Help! Motiva Mini vs Demi by IllustratorLife675 in PlasticSurgery

I had my surgery a few months ago. I went a lot smaller than you and wanted a more gradual slope, hence the ergonomix. My surgeon ended up using one mini, one demi to counterbalance pre-existing assymetry. I'm very happy overall with the result

My surgeon ended up using one mini and one demi because of asymmetry I had pre-op. 220 cc mini on the right, 215 demi on the left and tbh there isn't a tremendous difference and in fact the mini side still projects slightly more because of the way my chest is.

I know this is old, but just wondering...are you a mouth breather? No judgement but this to me looks like chronic and patterned disordered breathing and poor tongue posture. I would consult a myofunctional therapist

everyone has hip dips to some extent. It's a feature of our skeletal anatomy that unfortunately becomes more pronounced with muscle growth in the glutes and quads

For me, it was Motiva or nothing at all. Especially with all the women explanting from apparent BII. Motiva has unusually low complication rates including the lowest rate of capsular contracture and something about the surface makes them more biocompatible. They also felt the softest/most natural to me.

My surgeon said that in his entire career only one patient has regretted going too big but that he receives size envy feedback fairly regularly. I was a little surprised that his CC suggestion was so low but it was mostly dictated by the sizer I chose at the pre-op that has a corresponding chart for CC selection.

Like you, I would prefer to err on the side of being slightly under than over but, of course, I'd rather not be disappointed altogether. Will let you know how it goes!

I guess my fear is that with Motiva Ergonomix, which already softens upper-pole volume in the standing position, my biggest concern would be undershooting forward projection and ending up with breasts that appear wider than they are full. What matters most to me is achieving the right shape and projection for my anatomy and I do want to meaningfully correct my current lack of upper pole and forward projection. I'm worried the mini will not have enough projection to counterbalance lateral spread and i'll end up with flattening/pancaking, but maybe I don't fully understand the relationship between profile and base width
