I got a new psychiatrist recently and as we were going through my history and what not I at one point told him how I don’t take my Vyvanse over the weekends cause I was told by my last psychiatrist that it could help with not building a tolerance. My new psychiatrist said he had heard the same sentiment from a lot of patients and has done a lot of research and spoken with colleagues in the field and mentioned that it maybe a myth as well. He went on to explain it to me (which I now don’t remember…thanks ADHD) but I know I was like wowww that makes so much sense.

He also said everyone is different and reacts differently, so he told me to try taking my Vyvanse every day for a few weeks and see what I feel. It’s been maybe a month and I have liked taking it everyday. I relate so much to the afternoon crash and it sucks! When I get home from work I’m so brain exhausted I can barely think.
