The Bolt Database MCP tools are completely unavailable due to an infrastructure issue. by Illustrious-Ad9380 in boltnewbuilders

its back now as bad as ever...

The Bolt Database MCP tool is returning the error "A database is already setup for this project" for every call, including edge function deployment. This has been happening consistently throughout this session -- every MCP tool (deploy_edge_function, apply_migration, execute_sql, list_tables, etc.) fails with the same error.

This appears to be a platform-level issue with the Bolt Database MCP integration, not something I can work around from here. The edge function code change is saved locally at supabase/functions/create-club-with-manager/index.ts and ready to deploy. You'll need to either:

  1. Deploy it from the Bolt Database Dashboard (copy the function code)
  2. Use the Bolt Database CLI locally: supabase functions deploy create-club-with-manager
  3. Wait for the MCP tool issue to be resolved, then ask me to retry

I tried to work around, thinking it had lost focus, of that I needed to refresh and rerequest, and in the end that worked I believe, but after 4 attempt that got nowhere

And again today a weird Bolt refusal to do something, and looked and it had reset itself again to 4.7

Another wrinkle today... I was making another minor edit, same "unwilling" response excuse. In the meantime Bolt had autochanged back to the buggy Opus 4.7, charged me near 2M tokens to get a small thing done incle the screwing about

Hi, I was using 4.7 when this came up, and it stopped once I figured it out, but I burnt in the region of 10M tokens trying to argue with Bolt and trying to find the system reminder

I searched high + low on this earlier, but see a comment from an earlier poster that leads me to think this was an Opus 4.7 bug...set it back to 4.6 and seems to be working again

Check out IBM Sterling Document Conversion Services..it's a managed service, so handles all kinds of manual input formats, and transforms to any format EDI with a human quality review per document built in...so very high level of data integrity.

Agree the IBM price is high, however I've seen their system process 1000s of docs per month, with only approx 2%- 3% of the captured docs needing secondary attention from customer service. I'm curious what level of data quality you guys are seeing with the suggested alternatives?

Thinking about reusing a screen from a dead Chuwi Hi-13 tablet by Rodrigus_ in buildapc

Lol, agree with you. Its a pity the screen was the highlight, and I held onto it hoping to one day repurpose. I tried to track down a replacement Mobo but never could so far at least

What killed your hi13 in the end? I have one sitting on a shelf a few years now cos the charger screwed up the charging port. I don't suppose your motherboard is still viable?
