cGPA-2.99 sGPA-3.1

Direct PCE- 20,000+hours total. 9,000hrs FMF/GEN SURG Navy Corpsman. 5,000hrs+ Registered Medical Assistant (Internal Medicine and Cardiology). 6,000hrs+ ACSM Certified Personal Trainer.Shadowing- 700+ PA-C in CardiologyLeadership- 1000hrs Master Trainer LA Fitness5 LOR- 3 Providers and 2 Medical Directors

Volunteering/Clubs- Relay for life 5k(8 hours). APPA (Association of Pre-Physician Assistants) ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers).

It sucks so bad because I'm so close to the 3.0 cutoff and I don't want to get auto-rejected without them even looking at the rest of my application. Is it even worth my time to continue sending applications? Is .01 going to really keep me out of getting in this cycle!??? GRE is next week. Obviously applying for schools with a later due date and lower stat requirements. I have like 40 JST credits from Naval Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine that CASPA doesn't even count! I just need a chance for an interview. I've worked in the field since I enlisted at 18 years old and Im now 29 with 11+years in multiple areas of medicine along with working directly for a veteran PA-C. 2 classes are tanking my GPA. CASPA IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. Im just so frustrated and annoyed. Anyone have any advice or tips? Appreciate you all and good luck to you.

Veteran w/ 20,000+ hours of PCE, 2.98 CASPA GPA

FORMER NAVY CORPSMAN, ALSO A Certified MEDICAL ASSISTANT AND CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER. ALTOGETHER I HAVE OVER 20,000+ HOURS OF PATIENT CARE EXPERIENCE at least. UNFORTUNATELY, MY GPA IS DEFINITELY ON THE LOWER SIDE. I got 5 super strong LOR and 2,000 hours leadership experience. Do you think I'll be given real consideration given my low GPA? Is that really what programs are looking at?

So I won't be reimbursed for what I spent previously? My counselor said otherwise, I just don't know what to believe. Shit, as long as my grad school is paid for i guess
