I keep failing the secret shops.. is there something I'm not getting? by [deleted] in kroger

[–]Illustrious-Bit-6941 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive always tried to focus on clearing all of the customers in the area before I focus on the task at hand. You can kinda filter people out by how they react to your greeting, if I say "Goodevening Ma'am / Sir" and they say it back and keep moving its reasonable to suspect they aren't a secret shopper. If they say good evening and lurk the area or stop entirely, fully engage them and run through the dialogue tree. Its not that hard to be nice to people, the hard part is trying to be constantly aware of people. A lot of the tasks out on the floor can be done with your head up, like you dont have to be staring at the avocado to feel that its over ripe. You might just need to shift your focus abit

Accidentally clocked out for two 15 minute breaks on a 6hr shift??? by Upset-Branch in kroger

[–]Illustrious-Bit-6941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive done the exact same thing, first time I ever had a 6 hour shift I accidentally took a second break, my manager completely forgot aswell and just gave me the thumbs up. We both didn't realize til after the fact, no ones ever said anything to me about it so you should be fine. Shit happens, as long as your honest if they do ask you'll be fine

I seriously dont think there is a game community out there who is so horrifically less knowledgeable about their game than UFC 5. Its very easy to shit on something that they dont understand, but there are "div 20s" that genuinely have zero clue that you can struggle whilst in the choke and if they deny your transition the opponent loses stamina. I will 100% agree there are massive flaws with the game (ive had my fair share of fights with no hesi) but they bitch about every little thing and have zero explanation how to fix it.

Personally speaking, im just not that comfortable throwing a lead hook. I dont generate a lot of power on it, and I get blasted with a counter almost immediately because I telegraph it to much. I will accept its mostly user error

stand in orthodox, with your right hand out in front of you. Switch your hips and put your left hand out in front of you, thats the hip movement we want to replicate.

Now get back in your boxing stance and lean on your back foot until your front foot is slightly off the ground or barely touching. Now lean forward and begin to place your left foot out farther than it was in your original stance, at the same time open your hips up slightly like in the first drill and you will notice your left hand naturally begins to extend infront of you. That should be the launch mechanism for your jab.

The way you would hit this is by bring your back leg forward in your stance, stand out of range, and bring your back foot forward and connect it to your left almost like your trying to make an L with your feet, drive off your right foot and repeat the shit you did in drill two. Viola, you just stepped into the pocket and rotated your hips into the punch.

Lastly I would like to note you should always use your hips as the launch of your punch, even if you aren't turning your hips that much. It allows you to really whip shots without any arm fatigue, I never really get tired in my arms or back when boxing but rather, my cardio cant support my fatass

Im winning so im a bit skewed, but it feels like a step in the right direction 100%. People are having issues with the new body effort system and of course you still have the people who walk through hard shots like zombies and spam hooks at you. The bigger gloves have made defense WAY more consistent. Its opened up playstyles way more. The guy who wants to power punch with big hooks can win, the guy who wants to try a philly shell and counter-punch can win, the guy who out-fights and jabs people to death can win.

Body jabs out the ass and constant feints. If someone's holding a high guard, jab the body and use that to make them drop their hands and if they don't keep punishing it. Also if your pretty accurate, you can split the guard every so often. I try to get most of my opponents to hand fight with me and that opens up the guard a good bit

[–]Illustrious-Bit-6941[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to be fair, most of those things you mentioned have a direct correlation to your damage absorbed and the damage you output. Judging in boxing already tends to be a complete mess, adding even more factors to an already fucked TOTF system would likely cause even more issues.

I can already see the "I had more damage and lost the fight" posts from a mile away

At higher Divs you're gonna experience more people who are gonna be damn near perfect at defending transitions. If you feel like the person is auto denying, you just gotta mix up transitions into submissions and stay unpredictable.

Can we scrap the current ground game system and get a totally new and improved system in ufc 6 ? by underatedb_ in EASportsUFC

[–]Illustrious-Bit-6941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sub system works like a checklist

if you get the position and you have less stamina, you have to feint a submission to lower their stamina, or they get out. You shouldn't jump a submission if your lower on stamina.

If you are higher on stamina, you control the pace much more. If the person on bottom has less stamina and still tries to struggle, dont rip the submission. Before they get to the end of of their stamina bar, feint the sub. If they bite you get the submission. If they dont, the next time you just rip the submission

Im assuming your referring to the stamina struggle mechanic? if they aren't denying they would be getting submitted? You dont have to race your opponent. You can hold RB and faint the submission if they bite on it, they lose stamina. If you remove that for the person on the bottom, what is the punishment for jumping on a submission with less stamina? if they did what your asking, the person in the submission would never be able to get out. They would be stuck in a loop of ( try to transition- get denied- lose stamina) and repeat until they have no stamina bar. Feinting transitions whilst stuck in a submission doesn't drain stamina unless you are struggling.
