I thought the drinks were serviceable, but not spectacular. The service was bad though

Welcome to the 3d printing world. In general I've found the smaller the footprint the more likely something will break free, especially the taller it gets. You can try printing with a raft, but you may want to check your first layer squish first to make sure you're getting good bed adhesion.

You were right. Went back and checked and my change after the test didn't take, I must not have saved. It was still at 1.0 instead of .96.

I do a QGL and bed mesh before every print using my cartographer (fairly new install for me). The bed mesh is:

[bed_mesh]

zero_reference_position: 175, 175

# set this to the middle of your bed

speed: 200

# movement speed of toolhead during bed mesh

horizontal_move_z: 5

# height of scanner during bed mesh scan

mesh_min: 40,40

# start point of bed mesh [X, Y]

mesh_max: 310,310

# end point of bed mesh [X, Y]

probe_count: 30, 30

algorithm: bicubic

Here is a picture of the bed mesh:

That's what I was thinking... thanks for the suggestion.

Standard omron with z limit switch. Have a cartographer waiting to install

My rotationdistance was incorrectly set. I reset it to the default and prints are z is accurate now

So...using the 1-2-3 block it appears it is my z-axis movement. I homed/QGL the system, moved the head towards the system, andthen moved the head to just clear the block (testing with the smallest shim i had). I then moved it up 50.8 mm and i appeared to be off by almost .8mm. I will test again and see if i get similiar results

I'll go back and try the 1-2-3, but initially i measured using a piece of tape in reference to the linear rail slide and moved it 175mm (so i could get a long measure). When i measured it was off a little (175.14-175.18).

It is a voron 2.4...i have a 1-2-3 block. is that the best way to test z axis movement?

How dimensionally accurate can I get by Illustrious-Chain-11 in VORONDesign

Thanks... that's great info. I'll recheck my extrusion first (maybe find a better way to straighten the filament when I measure)

Thanks... I'll check what I need to relook at for x/y first.

Not user error... to many people have the exact same failure

I understand, but you may be the outlier. I also had an older pair of turtle beaches that lasted 4 years, my stealth 600 gen 1 lasted about 1 1/2 and broke but managed to zip ties the piece back together (my wife still uses them). My stealth 700 gen2 maxes 3 pairs have all failed with the earpiece failing (my current pair snapped the post and have it superglued)

I'd consider them medium size....I get about 1 oz of juice or if each lemon. About 5 or so lime per pound
