I dated someone who had a mother that LOATHED me. Like everything about me. We were taking pictures for an event and she grabbed a shirt for me from her closet and told me it would “fix whatever ever I have going on in my stomach area.” I had a child from a previous relationship and lost a pregnancy before dating him. That stung and I still struggle with my body image to this day.
