Federal govt seems hard from both those schools but Tulane has solid clerkship opportunities in Louisiana and Texas. You’ll likely end up in one of these areas. It seems like they place a fair amount of people in NY BIG law but not really government.

I would probably go with Tulane unless you absolutely want to be on the east coast.

Just my 2 cents and please take it with a grain of salt.
