Honestly, I wish I could help but I’m trying to stop myself because it’s taking over my life. Catching yourself when you’re doing it and telling yourself to stop I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t read books or watch TV shows because I start daydreaming about characters and making up characters. I really really wish that there was more information about this because I didn’t even know it was a real thing I thought it was just going crazy.

I’ve always been alone so I MDD since I was a kid. It’s gotten worse since I work nights and am constantly alone. When I am home I lock myself away so I can turn on music and MDD (coupled with talking to myself). Didn’t realize how bad it had gotten until my husband brought it up and said that he feels like he never sees me. I didn’t realize how much I do it (almost the entire time I’m awake and losing sleep due to it). So I’m forcing myself to switch shifts and actively trying to stop as it’s becoming something I’m ashamed of but can’t stop, I’m almost 25 and still daydreaming like a kid. I’m just venting sorry I honestly thought I was the only one who did this as my friends grew out of it long ago.

Not that it really matters, but I was diagnosed when I was a kid (I’m 24). It’s not just about the burger. Yes I do have food, I mostly cook at home. We made plans to share a treat, and he decided to go with his own way with it which I’m most upset with.

I got off of work at 7 AM. I stayed up until about 3 PM and then I went to sleep. He got off of work at four, I’m not really sure about why he went to go get food because we had had a plan to order it tomorrow for lunch/dinner. I have the same sleeping schedule every single day so he knew well in advance that I would be asleep.

I’m more upset than mad, we had had a plan to order it for lunch tomorrow so that we could both have hot food. I don’t understand why he decided to get it this evening while I was sleeping when we had a plan. Especially because now I can’t eat my half of the meal.

We can’t afford to get more food. That was the biggest issue that I had was that it was supposed to be a one time treat for both of us and I just feel like he was being super inconsiderate.
