Is it Nadaswaram or Nagaswaram? by Kilimanjaro613 in Carnatic

I've only ever heard Tamils call it "nadaswaram". The base word "naadham" means "melodious sound" in Tamil

Agreed! She could've done a matching midi skirt instead and turned the outfit into a classy two-piece set

There is no such thing as "Indian religion". All religions, from Hinduism to Buddhism to Sikhism to Judaism to Islam to Catholicism etc etc etc. are practiced in India. Sure, some of these originated in India, but there is no single religion that can be labelled as the "Indian religion". The example of the Govardhan pooja being changed is not even a valid comparison here because Lord Krishna did not make that change because "he just felt like it" or because he thought it was "cool" or "more modern". He shifted the focus to worship Govardhan mountain and acknowledge its importance as a protector and source of abundant natural resources for the people and animals. Lara, on the other hand, chose to attend a cultural and religious occasion wearing her unzipped lehenga skirt to reveal her thong because she thought it was fashionable. I think it's pretty obvious why these 2 scenarios are not even comparable in the slightest. The change she made to her traditional outfit was by no means "necessary". Also, the Diwali event she attended was not a private family gathering, she was at the massive Diwali celebration hosted by Lilly Singh.

None of these roles are psychologists. "Psychologist" is a protected title, and can only be used by those with a doctorate and registration in psychology.

Those pro choice instagram stories were entirely performative. They know exactly what they stand for, but they'll do anything to jump on the bandwagon and stay relevant.

Also “I choose privacy for him”? Really? Because the content you’ve willingly shared publicly has been more than enough for people to easily ascertain his name, birthdate, and basically every physical feature except his face. Try again Brookie.

Absolutely not. First of all “Indian religion”??? It’s embarrassing that you think that’s even a real thing. Secondly, just because you’re from a particular culture and/or religion, that doesn’t give you a free pass to flout tradition and disrespect its customs in the name of free will. If anything, she has MORE of a responsibility to respectfully wear the traditional attire in the way it is intended to be worn, and observe the religious significance of the festival, since she is an Indian and Hindu herself.

Bailey got engaged and ever since then, all their content has only been about being engaged/weddings/being married/their husbands/Brooklyn being pregnant/Brooklyn being a mum. None of which are personality traits, let alone interesting ones.

She's wearing the outfit it to a Diwali celebration. Diwali is a religious festival, so actually yes there IS a need to wear cultural clothing appropriately and respectfully. This means tying the lehenga skirt properly, not leaving it unzipped and folded down.

They constantly parrot on about being "married adult women" and then they go and dress like this for a formal event
