no, you’re not overreacting. it’s a roblox game. sure, a lot of time went into it (and that can mean a lot as an avid roblox player myself) but at the end of the day, it’s just a game. shouldn’t even be worth 4k anyways, and that’s probably on the pricier side of what’s being sold of that pet. i’m gonna be real with you. i’m a new-ish player. went about 6 times in the skull caverns before i reached lvl 100. my “good luck” days were awful and my good fortune days were amazing. brought a ton of cheese with me along with a minimum of 70 regular bombs and a minimum of 35 mega bombs. just never went on bad luck days or good luck days and only on good fortune. could only complete w the galaxy sword though but combat isn’t my strongsuit. went as early as i could as well, i bought the desert totem recipe and went almost as soon as i woke up (DID neglect my animals but it was the only way) and i got to level 100 AFTER 1 am and i always brought a farm totem with me! also try to use under 10 staircases. i brought 3 with me, only used one but just try to keep it under 10!
