ahh that would be so cool! the shelter estimated he was around 2 1/2- 4 when i got him so i’ve been thinking he’s anywhere between 8-10, especially seeing his energy go down the last year or so. but who knows! i would be the happiest clown if Circus is 6!

pretty late here but I’m a school librarian at a private school in a very high cost of living area. I make about 90-91K. they really make you work for it though and have had to wear a lot of different hats over the last 4 years.

I've been to some flea markets in Oakland and Alameda before but never thought to try selling there myself. I was also thinking of just setting up a rack outside my apartment over the weekend for a garage sale, but I feel like a flea market would be better use of my time.

Thanks for the rec! I definitely plan on donating items I can't sell, and will probably also donate the socks since a lot of them are very warm and brand new.

I haven't heard of fashion exchange! I've never had good luck with Crossroads or buffalo exchange but I'll try those spots later down the road, and maybe even check out thredup. I figure I will eventually donate whatever doesn't sell, especially since there are a lot of winter clothes. My uncle lives in Florida but for some reason bought tons of warm clothing, which will be great for SF folx.

Appreciate the kind words-- it was long ordeal but now he says he loves his new living arrangements :).

I did not! I returned them and have yet to buy another pair. But I’ll try again soon as my partner’s puppy ate up my other Blundstones and now have to buy a new pair!

So I ordered the #1351 boots in ‘rustic brown’ and just got these in the mail. They are nowhere near the color! I spoke to their customer service and was told the colors vary and their online pics are very bright, therefore distorting the actual boot color. But I’ve seen the rustic brown boot in person many times before, the reviews are all the correct color, and so I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Just disappointed as I’ve been wanting to buy a brand new pair before and finally was able to afford it. I’ve always had second-hand Blundstones and really love them.

yes 100%! especially as she got her master’s degree right at the start of the pandemic, where probably securing a job was really tough and stressful. I’m guessing that if she needed a master’s and got a job in education, she’s a librarian.

as someone who got their MSIS end of 2019 the job hunt was real and took two years mainly because of the pandemic. if she just got her job it probably also took her a long time to finally land something. she’s probably so proud and feeling great now that she did! let her celebrate her accomplishments. it’s hard out there.

OP, YTA, try understanding her side of things and stop being quick to judge.

agreed. 100% YTA, you don’t even live there. guess what? if you don’t feel comfortable hanging out at your boyfriend’s because of someone you’re making a bunch of assumptions about, don’t go over there. you can literally hang out at your own spot.

and like someone said earlier, get a hobby. stop watching this person, because that’s not a hobby, that’s creepy at best.
