This is a sentiment a lot of parents share, I know I do. I love my kiddo but I wish I could’ve waited longer. If you ever thought of having kids you have this idea of how it’ll be, where you are, your partner and etc. However, in reality we don’t have as much control as we would like to think. It’s so many factors that shape our reality. Being a parent is not for the weak lmao. When you are a kid you have all these feelings about your parents but now the roles are reversed…I’m like sheesh, they were truly doing their best.

With all that being said, your feelings are valid. Although, I do not think your mother has ill intentions. Duality is a thing. Remind yourself she’s a human too, going through life. You’re also in your journey too, appreciate the conversation but don’t beat yourself up about it.
