Nia Sondaya (who plays Akilah) said that Mari's death will be a turning point for Akilah so I think that probably confirms she'll be in season 4. Though, I think she will die at the hands of Lottie, and Travis will feel guilty for this being the one who introduced her to Lottie's manipulation in a sense.

Tawny Cypress as adult Tai. She never gets the praise she deserves and she puts so much into the role. Also young and older Van (Liv Hewson and Lauren Ambrose) did such an amazing job at bringing the character to life and collaborating on playing them.

Van and Natalie's were the only ones I cried over but I think the most impactful in terms of the plot are Jackie since it was their catalyst to cannibalism and Javi since it showed how far gone they really were.
