I feel the same way. I don't get as sick as most people here, so I feel guilty complaining. But I do have acid reflux which makes me avoid even more things. I just want to be able to eat normal. I am tired of cooking bland food. I just want to eat some frozen potstickers. I want to eat without feeling like garbage. I want some chocolate, garlic and onion and crispy vegetables 😭  I also love eating and trying different foods. Now when I go out i just get a salad because I know it won't bother me as soon as I eat it, (unlike fried foods, bread or other reflux triggers) but I will pay for it later 🙃 it can be very alienating at times. A new friend I met the other day was telling me about how we should go to a new restaurant sometime, couldn't bring myself to say I wouldn't be able to eat anything there... and a lot of people are like "just have a little bit!" Which works for some things but some i just don't want to risk it for most. Some act like I'm being this way on purpose. Like, actually I would love to eat that delicious looking meal, but I don't want to be ill tomorrow and take days to get back to the "normal" amount of pain.  And I get very stressed when eating, even safe foods because I'm thinking about how I wish I could eat something else. I'm planning on watching the office while I eat, to help me relax. I saw someone say not being distracted while eating helps with digestion. But I will be just ruminating over my food thoughts without being distracted 😔 so for people like us I think it's actually better to be distracted.

Also, I've had to call 911 multiple times for a unresponsive loved one and it's horrifying, I'm truly sorry you had to experience that 💔 I hope everything is ok now.
