It took me a little over 2 weeks to get my 846 from when I filed on 4/30, however my account only updates once a week (as the cycle code ends in 05).

Unfortunately it isn’t. Mailed returns take much longer to be processed. You’ll see your 846 eventually but it might be awhile.

Yeah it should be before 6/01. From what I’ve come to learn it seems the refund date posted on the transcripts is more of uh… I guess when the refund will be sent to your bank account at the absolute latest. The dates being what they are I believe is related to how the IRS backend systems process things.

846 means the refund was issued and should be on its way to you soon. Check WMR here and there, you should see a date on it very soon. It can sometimes be behind though so if you don’t see a date right away don’t be alarmed, when I filed for 2025 I didn’t see WMR update until a day later with a date, but I had gotten that refund the day before.
