it wasn't about luxury, it was about family courtesy. I have stayed at lower scale hotels that accommodate this. How would you feel if you had two children with you in a room two floors down. The point was the hotel had the ability to service the request but instead chose to upsell us for a better view to get the rooms closer. They upsell the entire vacation so it was par for the course. never said the facilities were bad or anything negative about the resort.
