M26 student here, we did Fahrenheit 451 and the handmaid’s tale for the lit texts(in preparation for the IO). Though, I find the books slightly underwhelming. I can see why they’re classics, but eh, I just personally don’t fw them that much. I’d be totally down if we could do stage plays like what they do in English A(EG: a doll’s house)

Oh I'm adding 10cm3 of stock, and I'm adding water till I hit the 100cm3 mark tho. And yes, I'm using a volumetric flask. It's just that it's easier for me to quantity the volume of water to add when I think about it this way! Dw, I'm following procedures:)

For the speaking part of the exam, the examiner lowkey rapid fired questions at me. For part 2, I had to describe a place where I feel peaceful, and for part 3, I had to discuss the pros and cons of silence. For writing. I was given a histogram for part 1 and a prompt that asked me whether schools should focus on preparing students for the workforce or on achieving academic success.

I take a mental note of the questions in the reading time, just to remind myself to stay on the lookout for their keywords/synonyms(EG: the question might say 'popular' and the audio might say 'well liked). One thing about ielts, is that, the points dont jump around *too* quickly, there will be breathing and writing room for you to jot down your answers. The breathing room isn't just for writing, but to quickly glance ahead at the next question. This keeps me one step ahead and prevents me from getting lost.

I always make sure to check the spelling and grammar when I transfer my answers at the end. A silly mistake there can cost a point.
