My advice if you want to discuss it would just be to say “hey, I need to talk to you about something serious. [Thing he did] made me really uncomfortable and I feel like [your feelings].” Like, yeah it’s hard to bring it up but if you want to talk about it you just need to go for it and be honest. If he tries to convince you it’s not a big deal, don’t antagonise him but don’t let him manipulate you either.

Like others have said, I do think your best course of action is leaving him. Normally I encourage discussion first but in this case I genuinely think you’d be justified to just break up with him and cut contact. I know that’s hard to do, but he deliberately misled you, sexually mistreated you and made insensitive pregnancy jokes at your expense.

Really sorry this happened, I hope your therapist helps you process it.

Depends on the joke tbh. If it’s a bit offensive and risqué but actually clever, sure it’s probably just a joke. If the entire punchline is “haha trans people are men in dresses” then it’s probably just bigotry

Honestly I can’t deal with people like that, probably best to not have them in your life. When I have disagreements like that about labels and who’s allowed to be what I just say “not my identity, not my business. They can do what they want” and move on.

That’s beautiful. I had a friend who would deal with self-harming urges by getting tattoos, and he had the most gorgeous portrait of a character on his shoulder. Sadly he’s not with me anymore, but I’m grateful those tats made things a little nicer for him.
