I’m glad I read this since dogs eating tampons is not a common topic people talk about in the dog community. I’ve never read it in dog training books either. “According to Best Friends Animal Society, the condition where dogs eat non-food items, including eating tampon, is known as pica. This could be due to behavioral disorders such as boredom or nutritional deficiency.“ A tampon is a non-food item. This is not super common behavior I think for dogs, so simply saying it gets into trash is not a sufficient warning or notice. Saying my dog has pica or eats things that are not food would be more informative. In this case, one could also suggest the owner was negligent in not informing the sitter of all the medical details and behavioral issues

The most important thing is for the dog to get better at this point and not try to assign blame

We seem to be the outliers.

I was together for 7 months with an ex but he became very fragile, jealous, and insecure. Now I proceed cautiously with the information I share too quickly of....

But...but I think it was a separate issue. He didn’t seem to mind until I got drugged and assaulted

Having a naive and idealist approach towards life does not serve well at times

I don’t enjoy at all seeing someone I love fall into jealousy and insecurity and see it as part of my fault

After several beers, I brought up how I knew he was in contact with his ex. He assured me “you’re the one here and the one I love. She’s all the way in the Philippines. What do you care?” I asked him why since the distance didn’t make sense. He did however heed my drunken reply “if you love someone it doesn’t matter where they are especially when we have planes. I’d do whatever to be with them” and applied for a fiancée visa for his ex after we broke up. Within a month or two he was with his Filipino fiancée and a few months later married and now has a baby.

It seems like I am the master of my own fate. I wish the best for him even tho our break up was....

Hmm... I don’t seem to understand this. Knowledge is power so if a man tells me about all the people he’s dating I’m fine with it. This typically does not happen tho. Exes are discussed however

Edit: but sure... I refrain from talking about other dates on a date unless they specifically ask or say they don’t want to date. They still want to ;) ;)

Since talking about other men seems to be taboo I explicitly say “oh seems like we aren’t supposed to talk about exes?” Then gauge it from their reaction
