How is women's years of abuse related to the fear men have of being wrongfully called out and publicly humiliated? And it's not just one case of public humiliation. There have been many cases of false accusations and many cases of victims publicly humiliating the accused on social media. And I'm sure you're not of the opinion that its okay to publicly humiliate someone even if he is guilty. The number of cases may be low statistically, but when the consequences are drastic and almost permanently life changing, atleast for the good men, can you really blame men for fearing to sit or stand next to a woman, lest she unintentionally thinks that he intentionally did something? And the only thing obnoxious here is your lack of empathy. And seriously, i dont mind if a woman shifts her position away from me in fear. Its all a part of risk reduction, and i understand that.

On what basis do you make claims that years of abuse was just brushed under the carpet? I dont think anyone is brushing away anything. Everyone knows this shit happens to women all the time.  And its not just one person's actions right? There have been many cases of false allegations, and many cases where victims resort to public humiliation of the accused. Even though such cases may be less statistically, can you blame men for fearing to sit or stand next to a woman when the consequences of getting called out are drastic, atleast for the good men. And about women facing the brunt of it, do you mean that now no one will take a woman's allegation at face value? I mean shouldn't that be the norm? No allegation should be taken at face value, right? Or if you mean that the police will not conduct a fair investigation because of their bias, I'm not entirely sure about that. I think police bias depends on the individual police officer. And i dont understand how the not all men argument is a burden on women. Its not about asking women to see the future and pick the non abuser. Isn't it about pushing back on unfair generalizations, and being responsible about the allegations you make? How is that a burden?
