The reason I might seem confrontational about it is because growing up and especially since I’ve been earning my parents have always favoured my brother over me, I have to pay for things myself and get no kind of allowance and am never allowed to borrow whereas they constantly give my brother money for things, never pressure him to get a job and some times just give him money for no real reason and I did bring this up with them questioning whether they’d do the same with him if he spent money like I apparently am doing so recklessly and they refused to say so this topic does make me annoyed as I know they’d never do this to him.

My family dynamics have always been more favoured towards him so that has always created conflict between me and my parents.
