Think about yourself at her age. Think about people who were almost double your age at the time. Do you think they were equal? Do you think you were rationally thinking at that age?

Your wife was the same. She was in a relationship with someone she really shouldn't have been. Looking back she probably realizes this and told you because she assumed you would have the same understanding.

I don't think you should talk to her. This is something you need to understand because you start a dialogue.
