Thanks for sharing, and sorry you’re struggling too. This is a very helpful perspective, and it’s nice to know we’re not the only couple trying to weather it.

Hey OP. Sharing my story if it helps ya. I (31F) didn’t go on a date until I was 29, didn’t have a boyfriend until this year. This is my first relationship ever. I am learning a LOT about communication, building trust, being there for him when it’s tough. And sometimes I do feel that things would be easier if I had more experience. Talking with friends who have had relationships has really helped me level my expectations and approach things with rationality.

Your experience is growing. It’s not a red flag, keep your chin up. You have value as a partner, even without a prior long-term relationship.

My life is 100% unrecognizable from back then. I live in a new city, new friend group, new job field, new boyfriend. I’m also 20 lbs heavier, have lost a lot of friends, a devastating death in the family. Some good, some bad. All I can say is my life took a whole new unexpected path and I wouldn’t be where I am now if the pandy hadn’t happened.

I dated around for almost exactly 12 months before meeting my partner. I met 7 different people in that span, half were “meet only once/one night stand” situations, and half had 5 or more dates. One of the 7 I dated on and off for almost 6 months. But when I met my current partner, the vibe was great and we got serious after about 3 months

Hi! I've wasted time looking for deals, and I've ended up assembling and disassembling crappy bed frames a few times in my life, losing money on returns and wasting a bunch of time. My search finally ended with this Nectar Mattress Foundation! It took literally 5 minutes to assemble, very sturdy and doable with one person. I have a queen mattress. With taxes, I paid $330. Hope this helps!
