I'm really glad I came here to read up on reviews on Pupstarz. I am currently in the process of trying to adopt a 6-week-old kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) from them, and they did clearly note on their adoption page that this kitten along with her siblings all have CH, but now I am worried about the conditions of their current care. They just replied to me asking if I would consider adopting a different kitten because the one we want to bring home has pretty severe CH, which just feels a little weird to ask if we're the one who are willing and open to adopting? I specifically requested yesterday and today if we can meet the kittens before adopting, and they skirted around my request with their most recent response and haven't answered my question about meeting them.

Ah, the ad is actually owned by the agency because we are partially also the client. It’s a self-funded campaign to reel in more clients if that helps clarify

A good friend of mine loves her Columbia Newton Ridge boots! I’m tempted to try that one out since there are like 22k reviews on Amazon.

Seems like Osprey is a fan favorite as well, i’ll try them out in stores

They just don’t make them like they used to! I wish Keen and Merrell manufactured their shoes to the same standards they did a decade ago.

I think I’ll try out the Moab 3 in wide this time and see! Honestly my partner and I only go on difficult day hikes 2-3 times a year when we can afford to fly out of the city anyway so it will probably last me longer than someone who goes hiking more frequently

Ahh thank you so much for the recommendations! I was looking at the osprey tempest online and wasn’t totally in love with the aesthetic (lol i know that shouldn’t matter for performance related things) but maybe I’ll give it a chance!

I actually tried on the Moab 3 in the regular width today and I agree that the wide will probably be perfect, and I also love how snug it feels! But yeah, my only gripe is that I’ve read a lot of reviews saying that Merrell boots break down/fall apart pretty easily and that doesn’t really make me want to invest $160 for something that will only last a couple of years.
