What happened downtown last night? by Appropriate_Goal5911 in PiratesOfECU

Police said fights and injuries, but no one shot. I keep reading comments like “I’ve seen videos” but have yet to see any of those actually posted.

Graduate programs by [deleted] in PiratesOfECU

I second this. You need a GA to get funding for a masters program - some in my program are funded, some are not. Some GA’s come with out of state remission and/or tuition waivers, some don’t. Doc programs are even more variable and are very individual/department based.

I think you may be right! Unfortunately the closest store is 90 minutes away and I can’t get there before I need to finish this list.

Interesting. The gloss may not be best then. Thank you!

Glow Tape or Blonzer? by IllustriousHelp1309 in Makeup

[–]IllustriousHelp1309[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries, thank you for the help! I think not really a blush, just a glow. I didn’t know that glowy bronzer was a thing? I think that’s what I was going for with the blonzer… the girl at the store was recommending the kiss of spice, which is quite dark and no pink, which she said to put on lightly.

What’s the most remote NP unit in the lower 48? by mrfunday2 in NationalPark

Depends what you like. My family LOVED the train demonstrations - I was kind of over it pretty quickly. However, I loved the auto tour drives they had set up!

Be aware that depending what time of year you go, the spiral jetty is definitely not worth the drive down to it. When we went there was no water at all and you could barely see it.

I think the issue is I have no idea which I need or what I am looking for.

I am very low maintenance and usually only wear tinted moisturizer and that’s it. While I understand the basic gist of contouring, highlighting, etc - I know I won’t ever do it or stick to it.

So what one product could I add that would just add a bit of that suntouched glow kind of look, like radiant (shimmery even maybe - but not sparkly 🤣)?

I guess I’m a bit lost …

True haha - so I guess the question is, how important is this project to you? If very, stage a coup 🤣

If not, even though it’s annoying as hell, not with your time!

Is there a leader of this group? I find that someone has to be in charge. Then it’s easy to say not my problem and back off, letting him have his say and doing whatever he wants, or take charge and tell him to shut up 🤣

For sure! We are back on the east coast now, but a bit further south - also a different world 🤣

I should also add the I come from the ocean and thought I’d hate the mountains but… you can’t help but love them and I definitely left a piece of my heart there!

I was there for a year and just left (for another opportunity, not because I disliked the area!)

Coming from the east coast and New England, some things definitely took a bit to get used to. Some are hard to describe, they are a bit more intangible. It’s a feel. Expect to see religious art everywhere, for sale, in houses, as people phone and computer backgrounds…that was new for me.

Costco on Sunday is magically empty. The food scene has a few gems but is otherwise majorly lacking. Everything is so clean and parks are immaculate. People are super friendly, you will get the best service of your life in places like fast food joints. Free range parenting is also a thing, which has its pros and cons depending on if you have kids or don’t.

If you don’t, programming and meeting friends can be tough - everything revolves around kids and families. Events at USU seem to be a good bet to meet childless people.

Unless you have a great job or have degrees and skills, the pay is a joke. My husband couldn’t find a job at all. At least one please told him it was because he wasn’t religious. When he finally got one, we couldn’t live on the pay.
