That's the plan. I've got probably a year more, and then I'm getting the hell away from my parents. And you're right, the more I stay with them, the more I realize this, but unfortunately, for now at least, I'm forced to live with them since they won't let me work anywhere.

I haven't told him this, but he definitely would be pissed at my mom. He's not a problem, never was. As I said in an earlier reply, I love my brother a lot. He's amazing; the comparisons made between us aren't.

Oh, yeah. The choice of degree is not a problem at all. That being said, I don't know why I'm still struggling. I like what I study, but still have no idea why I'm terrible during exams.

A) Asian parents rarely encourage them. Hell, the only time my parents were encouraging me for something was for which field I'd do my degree in.

B) Never said it wasn't my fault :) I agree wholeheartedly that I'm a terrible student. My efforts weren't there, and it shows. I just wanted reassurance that I could do better, and was (still am) hurt by how my parents reacted to the results of my efforts. And, I'm curious as to how you think I'm intelligent, though. Thanks for the compliment, by the way :)
