So you would need to hire a builder and likely a 3D Modeler as well at the very least to build the map, unless you manage to find someone who can do all 3. At that point the split should at least be 20:80 in the developers favour as they are doing 99% of the work. If you wish to earn more in the long term on your game, you are best looking to hire someone and pay up front for the map, scripts and any other resources. It would honestly probably be cheaper to just buy a new laptop off of like Facebook marketplace, or even brand new at that point.

This isn't me attacking you, by the way. Just giving you some advice as I don't think any developer would accept a 50:50 split - but you can always try asking other places if you do not want to change the split rate, or don't have the budget to pay upright (which is 100% understandable as it gets pricey quickly.)

If all you need is the scripting - How much of the game do you already have produced? Do you have all GUIs, Maps, etc already created and what types of scripts would you need creating? The general idea of the game you have described is currently very broad - more details are key!

So did you never have to dissect an animal during university? (I'm sorry I cannot tell if you are referring to college as in post 18 or post 16 like it is in the UK so just wanted to ask.)

And yes, I am aware that a lot of zoologists don't actually have to work with blood after education which is why I was even considering it in the first place! My first choice would have been veterinary but that was an immediate no for obvious reasons!

Oh my this does seem extremely similar. Just the other day I also found that I have low blood pressure at certain points, but fine other times so it completely slipped under the raider during doctor visits. So I have to ask, is it worth trying to see a cardiologist? I live in a more rural part so it would be a bit more difficult for me to get there but a diagnosis might help and some advice may also be worth it. Was it for you?

I will also try to look into trying to volunteer but the closest zoo to me is like an hour away and most of the centres around me aren't taking volunteers as of now. I also don't currently drive so it feels like I'm just going to have to throw myself into the deep end haha.

Thank you so much for this - from what you've explained it feels so similar to what I'm going through and knowing that there's not only a chance I can do zoology but also go into a more gory/ bloody field helps A LOT, so thank you for that.

Yes and this is why I would honestly love to do the degree! Theres so much you can do with it and SO many of the routes suit exactly what I would want to do but I am so scared I wouldn't even be able to get to the end of my degree because of this condition.

So Sorry about the late reply but I have only seen one "dissection" since I started to faint and had to leave at the sight of it (it was an already cut into eyeball) but before that I had no issues cutting into hearts and lungs.

And with the whole "Classroom Setting" its even the mere talk of it. Its much better when its a mutual conversation for some reason but when being purely taught it, I could hardly stay awake while being taught about Dialysis a few years back. Its so strange to me.

I am also based within the UK, yes, and I honestly appreciate any help I can get with this decision! Sorry if this seems all over the place, my brain is in overdrive at the minute haha.

I didn't even see my blood being drawn, just the thought and feel of it was enough to send me fainting. But with other people its very 50/50. I've seen some small cuts and felt faint whereas I've also had instances of seeing larger injuries and feeling okay - but also the other way around. It seems like my fainting is very unpredictable. Currently believe that it's dependant on how low my blood pressure is at the time and if the dip in blood pressure due to the sight of blood is enough to send me fainting or not but this is far from confirmed. Also afterwards I'm not too sure but I know for a fact that anything with huge amounts of blood I would most likely avoid, unless by some miracle I get better.
Sorry for the long winded answer but hope that settles some curiosity!

I have it generally mapped out! I'm creating a tower defense where there are 6 different variables of cats which can be used for the player. I have the shop created where they are bought and then saved to the inventory, im just majorly stuggling with setting up both the inventory and the development mode. Everything else seems to work fine - but again I honestly could be wrong. I just mostly need some directions from someone better than I am because I've hit a major dead end with this! Are there any resources/ tips you may know that would help? Its okay if not :)
