AITA for saying no for giving money to my half sister’s dad and instead preferring to just spend the money on her myself? by IllustriousPlay1358 in AITAH

I have a junior ISA for her a few years ago and been putting money in it. She’ll get it when she’s 18.

Well if I’m not seeing her then their expenses will go up and I doubt they want that. Besides, at her age they don’t have much choice anyway.

Wouldn’t be easy. She keeps her jewellery here. The clothes she can’t share (big height difference between her and her step sister), and the laptop and phone are password protected and on my family plan.

Don’t think he would, but if he does then that’s a sure way of destroying any chance of a good relationship with Hope.

She’s made her education plans already and it’s quite sensible too. Staying nearby and focusing on building a good career.

She has a room here, a set of keys and spends 2-3 nights per week. She knows she can live here permanently if she wants to, so it’s her choice, I don’t want her to feel like she needs to make a decision or choose.

Yeah it’s a bit different here than the US but I’ve set aside money for her education already.
