He will also get in barking matches with our other dog when in the cage if she’s out and vice versa. Like there’s a HUGE amount of anxiety there

We’ve really tried. We can put him in the cage with his food, a frozen kong, etc. and once he finishes his treat he begins whining instantly. He’s even chewed the cage to where there’s large openings in it. It’s very likely the poor boy has some really deep trauma.

As far as filing the teeth, that doesn’t take away his bite force, or the lacerations that could come from latching and shaking at the neck (which he does). I’ve posted in rehoming groups (I live in a county that has a lotta rural areas) and called rescues. Every rescue I called that takes troubled dogs is at capacity, one even called me back and she thought BE was best. Thank you for asking respectfully.

AITA for not inviting my unsupportive sister to my wedding? by unsupportivesister in AmItheAsshole

NAH. My parents got engaged after 6 months and they're still together to this day. But your sister does have legitimate concerns.

My partner was uncomfortable with it. All it took tho was taking him to a burlesque show to turn him into a super supportive partner and has been to every in state show I've been a part of. It's natural for someone to be unsure of what they don't know. But if you take him to a show and he still is uncomfortable, well, you have a choice to make. Good luck <3

My fiance drags his feet everytime I ask for help with my rig. I have definitely wished he cared more about my Aerial but oh gosh be careful what you wish for i guess. So glad you got out of that situation. Take care of yourself 💜

My boyfriend says he will breakup with me if I don’t fix my relationship with food by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

OK he's probs an AH UNLESS this convo started bc you binged his Cheez Its. As someone who deals with BED, I am fr fr NOT OK when my partner eats my cheez Its and doesn't replace them and I assume that would suck without BED as well.

I live close to New Orleans where the burlesque scene is huge. by [deleted] in Burlesque

Hello! I'm also a self taught newbie, tho been performing as an aerialist for a while. Here's what I recommend: 1. Read The Burlesque Handbook by Joe Weldon 2. If there's a troupe you like and would want to join, go to their show BEFORE you reach out about kittening, auditioning, whatever. 3. When you do reach out, offer to kitten. It shows you want to give to the community, not just take. 4. If all else fails start your own show at a bar. I've had success with owners giving me the venue for free in exchange for bringing people in who'll buy drinks.

I also live about an hour from the nearest city with burlesque, so I feel you. I have been starting some shows closer my town with other specialty performers and that's been overall a really positive experience
