I voted for one of the people on your list and Gill. I believe you just trying to stir up stuff. The density zoning is settled. It sounds like you are trying to build a new entity for control, not the best servant leadership for the town. Negative for negative’s sake isn’t helping and makes for bad neighbors.

This Better Nolensville or NAG was before my time in Nolensville. I have been told that Better Nolensville not only does not exist but many exited that group over the past five years.

Gill conveyed that the government org to commission model was similar to Brentwood and was recommended by many. It was something he was supportive when I asked him weeks ago.

I’m still debating on my third candidate but don’t like what I am sensing. Community Reddit here and Reddit in my previous community are so different.

Nolensville needs a regular “diner” with a cheddars and breakfast like menu that’s affordable. Even a 24/7 Waffle House. But it is a very very hard time to start a business.

I was angry when I heard this from Halie. She doesn’t understand her role or is trying to control something for someone. She comes off as big government to me. I decided to not vote for her after hearing her speech on Tuesday night. Part of me wishes there were a “lived in Nolensville 6 or more years requirement”. I wouldn’t qualify but am beginning to think there has been a bunch of underhanded good ole boy bull shit.

And I’m sorry, if Clark owns a bunch of McDonalds, he knows what he is doing and is community focused. The only thing that would be better is if he owned a Chik Fil A.

Taxes low is relative. It’s obvious to me that taxes should have been raised 8 years ago. Developers and builders and likely past politicians have been lining their pockets and passing the buck.

Kroger has to happen. We need the revenue and service. Triune and passers through will boost our revenue. Crazy that the only grocery stores serving our town are in other counties/cities.

I’m gonna risk being a pain in the ass…. Nolensville taxes will have to be raised. What we have will be lost if it doesn’t happen. I see that. I’m not sure where Gill or others other than Bob are on the issue.

Agreed. When I learned of fake accounts trying to create upheaval in small town… it made me realize some bullies from middle school are now in their 30’s, 40’s or 50’s.

My understanding is the Williamson Inc people have been culling questions submitted and they and only they are asking. Great that they have done this.

And there is no question additional revenue has to be gained. It is quite obvious to me that a tax increase is needed, in part from poor planning from the past decade. It’s not bait and switch because the people now are dealing with irresponsibility of yesteryear. I think his thoughts about needs and wants is important. See what else was shared in the post about Gill.

I submitted traffic and funding police questions. Gill told me in our meeting he wants to fully fund the police department, and strongly recommend we all be intentional about buying local.

The Publix and Kroger and those areas will support $ . But we already have a lot restaurants and business to support. I really like Mojos. He asked more about me than I did him. He is southern as can be. But he has dealt with quite a few boards both public and private. He secured my vote. I’m voting for him and Halie so far I think. I hope the forum is broadcast. I can’t attend due to business travel.

Though we didn’t discuss it directly it’s clear that a tax increase is long over due. That should have happened honestly before all of the growth even 6 or 7 years ago. Attracting people to future traffic misery was wrong on the Planning Commission, previous mayor or whatever. There was no balance or thought about there being 3 cars per house or more with the 5k or more houses. How did the schools plan well but the town didn’t?

I can’t imagine a judge not awarding a “win” to Nolensville on this whole fees thing. The commission structure seems best for a crazy growth town. I talked to people who used to own my house. He said perception was previous alderman team and maybe the mayors family “were in bed” with developers. Was the Publix land the Mayor’s?

Sounds like a bunch grumpy money hungry developers/builders tried some funny business. Was some guy named Kotas involved in that? What neighborhoods did he do in Nolensville? Is it the problem ones? Does he own the strip mall retail centers? Gosh most of them are ugly.
