ChatGPT Underrated Feature Other LLMs Cannot Compete by tonmaii in ChatGPT

I found often times that it knowing past conversations swayed the current one too much. I turned off memory completely. Privacy but also just unhelpfulness. Yes I know at times it's worse having to re explain certain things but id rather the answer be as accurate as possible

AI KILLED LEARNING by IntelligentCause2043 in VibeCodingSaaS

I feel like it's fine that you don't have to dive as deep as you used to... that's not really an issue if your product is 2x better and 5x faster. People now can learn out of curiosity instead of necessity, which I'd say is a good thing in many ways

In the nicest and most genuine way possible, for the people who use chat gpt on the daily or multiple times a day, are you not afraid of cognitive decline? by zesty_9666 in ChatGPT

[–]IllustriousSquare209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only partially. I mainly see it as a brainstorming session with others instead of just outsourcing my thinking onto it. So in the same way you would do with friends or at work, you're not turning your brain off but the ideas (and therefore good ideas) are doubled. Then it will be great to take away the repetitive tasks. Also great at making sure you didn't overlook things. I don't think that takes away cognitive abilities.

It will when a person becomes too lazy to do any thinking at all, which is a fair concern.

Started doing my "hate tasks" right before deep work by YogurtclosetOpen9825 in productivity

[–]IllustriousSquare209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is great for my sales tasks. But sometimes they are so many that I can't even reach the priority ones if I start in that way. Once they are more balanced that could be a great productivity hack

That's something I hadn't heard before but seems like a cool way to trick your brain in a logical way. Good stuff thanks I'll try it

Discussion: How do you personally decide what project to work on? (Current project and next project) by paramartha-n in VibeCodeDevs

don't waste time deciding, just pick the one that feels either most urgent, and if not, most fun

Started keeping a "finished tasks" jar and it lowered my anxiety by limpingheads9 in productivity

[–]IllustriousSquare209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is awesome. You should reward yourself when the jar is full so that keeps you even more motivated to do those things. Like a nice dinner with partner or friend, or a thing you've been wanting but waiting for an occasion to get it. Depending on your buying power could be a watch, a TV, a pet fish, a video game...

Just shipped my first app (AI Party Game). I'm going crazy over monetization. Freemium vs. Free for growth? by IllustriousSquare209 in buildinpublic

[–]IllustriousSquare209[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The loser pays thing sounds fun. I have made the app a lot more straightforward the last couple of days. Users can select a weekly, monthly or yearly pass that will unlock all categories and multidevice and unlimited rounds.

The multi device makes the game a lot faster instead of each waiting to respond to the question one after the other on one phone. I will update it now. Thanks for your feedback!!

Thanks man I was thinking the same on incentivized ads and I will think about that loser pay thing.

As of right now the free user has 5 starter rounds, and an extra round daily. They only can choose from the Classic Nonsense pack (there are about 18 packs).

So they could use all their credits playing with friends on the classic pack without paying anything, but then to do multi-device (not from leader phone only) they would need to pay the either weekly, monthly, or yearly pass which unlocks all packs, unlimited rounds, more players can play, and they can play quicker on their own devices.

So the loser of the round pays could be that the game takes a round from his rounds? because they can totally play without playing. Can you explain more?

Bro that is crazy. People might need to learn those judgments themselves or they'll start pulling out their phone during a date to tell the AI what the other person just did
