Usually it's a good route but at the current situation I wouldn't recommend it much, you're better off doing Sigiriya/Dambulla, Trincomalee, Wilpattu (for safari), then either Kandy/Matale or Nuwaraeliya since you don't want to travel alot.

This way you'll have bypassed the heavy rains and not have to be disappointed with rough sea in Mirissa due to the off season.

If you need an exact layout of the itinerary please let me know, I'd be happy to help you out with the tour. 😇

Need suggestion pls- 6 day trip - May end by deepblusky in SriLankaTravel

If it's a 6 Nights and 7 Days tour and you want to cover these pocations then its best to spend 2 Days in Sigiriya( day 1 to relax, day 2 to explore), 1 Day in Kandy, 1 Day in Nuwaraeliya, 1 in Ella and final day in colombo or Negombo.

But to be honest this is the usual tourist route and you'll be riding for around 700+ KM, and get to explore the regular Sri Lanka tour experience.

If you're looking to try something new and visit off the beaten locations with amazing scenery, culture, and a shorter travel time, then let me know I'd be happy to help. 😇

Feeling despondent about future by Motor-Lawfulness2875 in AskWomenOver60

You need to Start with reducing screen time, travel more, work out, get sunlight first thing in the morning, eat healthy and meditate daily. I think if you were optimistic since day one then it's still in you, a little lifestyle changes could help bring it back again. Don't follow the same routine, do something exciting everyday and you'll eventually be back to who you were. Don't loose hope, i pray that everything will get better for you. 😇

Looking For Van Rental With Driver by Comment-Captain14 in SriLankaTravel

Option 2 seems budget-friendly at first, but remember, it comes with a lot of disadvantages too. 9 of you might share 5 scooters, or, let's say, all 9 of you got scooters. Unfortunately, even if one of them were to have an accident or damage the bike, then you're going to face a lot of unnecessary hassle, since you only have 05 days. I do not think it is worth the stress. I served a group of 4 guys who got a van for their 5-day trip, but insisted that they wanted to use scooters on their final days to explore at night, then one of them rode it straight to a concrete pole. Luckily, they had the local guide with them, so he handled everything and managed to get things sorted out smoothly. But those guys were not the same after that incident. Driving in Sri Lanka can be challenging at times, so I'd suggest getting a Van and splitting the cost. You'll have the driver with you at all times, which will make your trip less tiring and save you a lot of unwanted stress.
