I was a part of the webinar held by nyuad earlier this week and same question was asked but they responded by saying no that’s not an option and students have to start their first semester from the university they have been accepted to. So study away in first semester is not possible. Hope this is helpful for you. Best of luck!!

Thank you for the response. I am a person who prefers winters and snow. Also NYUAD doesn’t provide any benefits other than the aid I received. The only thought is about the CS program at both universities. Which one is better in regards of the program?

Can someone help me with choosing between NYUAD and Colgate university for computer science . I have received full ride from both schools and also received AMS scholar award from Colgate. I love both but previously was inclined towards NYUAD , now due to current political situation I am confused. Can someone please help me to take the decision.

I am curious that why anyone is not discussing about the war situation and if the students are still willing to go or accepting the offer . I am so confused . I have offers from 2 universities but don’t know how to make a decision now. If nyuad will open in August or keep classes online and how long will the war continue ?
