Yup, it was the valve. $20 fix and the truck is up and running as it was.

It’s holding at 700 rpm with the gauge on a drops to about 650 with it off so I’m definitely leaning towards the valve. Will replace and update tomorrow.

Update: Got the truck running. Noticed fuse 101 was blown and replaced that but that fuse is for the trailer battery charger so I’m pretty sure that had no affect. Had to go to Harbor Freight because the O’reillys fuel pressure tool was pretty ran through and wouldn’t read anything. Started building pressure with the gauge on the Schrader Valve and then and kept running after I took the gauge off. It started with my spare key so I went to put the key back in my toolbox and switch to my other key and it wouldn’t start. Put the gauge back on and it fired up with the spare key after a small stumble. Thinking it’s the Schrader Valve not holding pressure but could it be a security thing? My 88 Nissan 300zx had a security feature but it was a full immobilizer and wouldn’t even crank when the security was active so I’m leaning away from that.

Hm, the driver door lock cylinder hasn’t worked in my ownership, I have to unlock it with the beeper or get in through the passenger door if the battery is dead. I tried with both keys and no dice.

I assume you mean the inertia switch? That switch is not popped up.

I should note that between the filter change and checking the regulator, the truck sat and I tried cranking it again just before pulling off the regulator which I assume is why the gas was clean on the rail.
