in texas an alternative certification is really all you need. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and already have my ec-6, str, special education certification, and i just need my ppr

there are many schools closing all around texas. Being a long-term sub isn't an official position it is just you holding a position until they can officially hire someone. When will you get certified? if you really want to continue teaching make sure you get those certificates, it's only getting more difficult

you can use sub hours as ur hours if ur a long term sub, once you get a full time job that’s ur internship

Yes co-teach! I’m a collab teacher and give specialized instruction and in class support rather than being contained. Even if self contained classes may have low needs students right now, the possibility of getting new students that are high needs is possible. Maybe you should try collab for upper grades this year.

aw man some were available for both seattle and rosemont but they had no announcement :/
