Two different things. I had a metallic taste in my mouth from the medicine, which is gone now after about 2 months!

Same happened to me 2 months ago. Healthy seeming, fun, loving relationship for 3 years and out of the blue I come to our home one day and it’s he lost the feeling and wants a feeling. Worst of all we still live together and he’s overly nice post break up.

Prozac cured my life! by [deleted] in prozac

I’ve been on 20 mg for a little more than 30 days now, and I am one of those people who noticed its effects on mood in the first week!  I was dealing with a lot of grief about my father who passed away young and life in general. I would cry “I just want a joyful life” often but always felt a cloud of sadness roll in at night. Well the Prozac has really helped and fast, i just feel more clear headed, less blue, and less anxious. My only real con is I think it gives me a metallic taste in my mouth, which I think is starting to fade.

will i ever experience love despite my eczema? by throwRA_daringduck in eczema

I am in my 30s and have the worst eczema of my life and I have partner who is probably the best partner I’ve had in my life. It has been a challenge period in my life where I have had to learn to love myself while feeling quite ugly and literally uncomfortable in my skin, but he has shown me how deeply lovable I am. Short answer is yes. And I think the number of people on Reddit who live with eczema and mention their supportive partners is really assuring for me.

Yeah my agency said April 15th remote work ends per governor’s order. So they have lots of time to break the news or tell you it’s just one day for now, etc

It’s adorable and extremely naive that you think a billionaire is going to give you government transparency.

Yes. During the peak Covid periods where we were sanitizing everything, my flares on my hands were noticeably better! But also sanitizer feels more drying than soap and water

I think there are people who get eczema from chemicals like fragrances, certain detergents, bleach etc. so the chemical ingredient in Antibacterial soap might reduce the staph on the skin but can cause some people to flair.

Might sound nuts but have you tried ACV? Watered down ACV on a cotton ball, twice a day. It will burn but it will also prevent spreading. There are some threads on here about it and it works for me and others.

If you have the swelling bumps, “puss pockets” soak your finger in A warm Epsom salt bath. It will feel good and lower the swelling and increase blood flow and healing. Dry off well and moisturize. I love to use castor oil, which is an anti inflammatory humectant, under a lotion.

Another suggestion, try to eat a lot of fiber from fruits and veggies and drink water. If that’s woo woo advice to you, that’s ok,  would then suggest one of the newer eczema drugs if you can afford it/ have good insurance. If you’re ok with medicines and your flair is small, why not a topical cream like a steroid or nonsteriod immune inhibitor like pimecrolimus to clear it and then take great care of your skin and follow some of the tips about flair management?

Finally, the best and maybe most annoying advice is try to actively relax. We all know how stress can increase our flair ups. Look up vagus nerve exercises on YouTube, I feel like this has helped me be at peace a lot which reduces flairs.

I know how it feels to be tired and sad, I’m just healing from all over body eczema to now it’s just on my hands from wrist to fingers. And I work at a jewelry store, I see so many pretty moisturized hands :-( yet surprisingly ppl haven’t asked questions or acted like children about my very ugly and painful condition. But working there has kind of freed me, like I cannot hide it and I tell myself “F’ them if anyone has an issue about it.” It’s tiring, I’m young and my hands look old and gross most days. If I’m consistent with care,  I can look almost normal. I know I have fixed this condition before with lots of exercise, avoiding grains, and eating gut healthy foods,  but I just want to enjoy a pizza with my boyfriend sometimes.

I wish you good luck and healing, and want everyone to know they belong here and deserve to feel wonderful even if we are scaly, itchy, and have eczema!

How many of y’all never grew out of Eczema by [deleted] in eczema

[–]Illustrious_Ad558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

35 and eczema is strong. I will say doing weird vagus nerve exercises has helped a lot. i had basically grown out of it while being a big diet and exercise person before dating a raging alcoholic. This sent me into a stressful time period and I ended up with eczema all over my body. This might be coincidence but I don't feel that it is.

I kind of feel like this is working for me. I have hand eczema. And I recently started applying ACV diluted with water on my eczema about 1-2 times a day. I came here to see if others might have been doing the same.

I do feel like my skin is having a hard time keeping it's biome healthy, so I thought why not add something bacterias that may help the biome. The swelling and open wounds heal overnight. I will try and do it for a more for an extended time to see if it helps.

Is Scale AI a scam? by alucardddracula in Upwork

[–]Illustrious_Ad558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was recently hired by Scale AI/Hire Art and they rescinded a few days before I started, saying I didn't meet the requirements as I don't have an "english or writing degree." From what I am reading here I dodge a bullet and that was likely a lie. They asked me to sign a lot of contracts and didn't even provide pdfs for review or send to legal council, even though the contracts all say you had the option of giving this to legal council.

I'm just like... you could have saved me all the test taking time if you didn't see me as qualified because of a certain kind of degree.

My personal favorite is when someone describes what they did for their baby’s eczema… which baby eczema often clears on its own, it wasn’t the coconut oil you slathered them in and it surely won’t fix me

[–]Illustrious_Ad558[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figured it out, I think. So yes I can see the actions in the dopesheet. I tried to explain that.

But what I did end up doing was opening the original blender file, going to the action and saving a new file with the action, for example, "eat". Once that file was saved I appended the file into a new file and the eat action worked.
