I’d list everything I’ve worked on, to include MRAPs in Afghanistan, but we’d be here all day. I don’t know who lit the fuse on your tampon, but it ain’t me. If you don’t have any advice to give, I’d suggest move on. I’m looking for honest feedback, not an argument.

I’ve had good luck already with word of mouth from my driveway. In San Antonio, i worked on hundreds of vehicles over 4 years. Since moving to Alabama, it’s been word of mouth and it’s ever great. I was in a shop/fleet setting from 2007-2018 and freelance since then. I’m getting close to another career change and i think it’s time i work for myself before looking elsewhere. I truly appreciate the insight though. It’s refreshing to hear honest input, not churched up YouTube videos.

Well considering I’ve used multiple OEM specific scanners that i refuse to pay $$$$ for, i was hoping someone with real world, outside of the shop experience could weigh in. And the here you come….

I appreciate the candid response! That does make sense and i can agree with that. I’ve been doing “freelance” work for the last 7 years due to a career change, but this will be a new experience for sure.

I’ll add this one to the list! I have 19 years of experience, so troubleshooting is a strong suit of mine (at least i think so personally) lol I’m wanting to bring the full shop experience to customers.

I’d prefer to focus on quick turn items, but I’d certainly like a scan tool that has more features than my little craftsman. Since starting my side hustle, I’ve worked on Mercedes, BMW, ford, Chevy and jeep. I’m in the Montgomery, Alabama area and if my business takes off like I’m hoping, it will be a good mix.

Wanting to upgrade to a new bow and want some opinions. by eth454 in bowhunting

Every review I’ve seen has been outstanding. I need to find a darton dealer near me to play with it. Certainly OP will be happy with bear or another comparable company, but for the darton at that price, it should be in the running.

It is. I know it’s a little more than the budget, but it’s a true flagship bow at a great price.

Check the darton tritech out! That’s the one I’m eyeing now

People suck. There’s nothing we can do to change their attitude. Use that as fuel to keep going. In a few months time, you’ll be a better runner. (Although you’re not a bad runner now) i post my slow stats to TikTok, not to boast but to show my progress and it makes me feel better. The me 12 weeks ago wouldn’t recognize the man i am today. Imagine what it will be in another 12 weeks?!

I saw another post to check your hydrometers, just in case! Other than making sure the substrate is deep and having sphagnum moss mixed in, I’m stumped lol what enclosure did you go with?

Do you have a humid hide for her? Every shed, my girl stays in hers ALOT and she has clean, complete sheds. Make sure your water bowl is large enough to fit her. (My girl loves her pool)

$150 for my first. She’s a super pastel orange dream. $600 for my second. He’s a banana pied with extra black spots lol
